Sretsis AW 2015 at Tokyo Fashion Week

Sretsis gave a beautiful start to the Tokyo Fashion Week, presenting their AW 2015 collection in a whimsical, romantic setting of an enchanted forest. Maze-like runway was so smart. It gave us the opportunity to enjoy each look multiple times despite the high pace of the show. The flower rain at the finale was absolutely perfect. I couldn’t have asked more from a fashion show. I was instantly hooked, inspired and seriously in love with the brand. I can’t wait for the calibri print maxi dress and the white lace polka dot dress to hit the stores. The models were beautiful too, made me miss my long hair. ^-^

Adorable Beni chan made her runway debut. This kid is seriously cute.

After the show I caught up with other bloggers Yuri, Maya and RinRin Doll. Yuri was wearing Sretsis off-shoulder piano dress.

I am planning to see a couple of more shows tomorrow and Friday. Im excited to work on my exposure triangle. I believe I got better at taking runway photos. The Sretsis ones are very grainy but considering how far away from the stage I was sitting, I’d say it is still a pretty decent job. Stay tuned!

      Hi Sharanika,
thank you for reading my blog. I am a graphic and interface designer working for a Japanese IT company. I actually don’t know much about finding jobs in Japan since they found me. Are you planning to become a doctor? I’m sure there are a lot of exchange programs in that area. My friend who is studying to become an infectious decease specialist is traveling all over the world. If you are ever in Tokyo during Fashion Week, let me know. I will take you with me. ^-^

  2. Wonderful photos. You’re right about the setting about whimsical and romantic, a great contrast for a high-paced fashion show. Those clothes will definitely be smashing on Asian women, particularly Japanese. Hope to see more of your runway photos. Your photos are indeed good, and no one would have guessed that you’re that far away from the stage. Keep at it!
